About
U.S. Baseball Academy offers instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, and baserunning. Camp days include situational baseball games, competition drills, and a Wiffle Ball World Series as part of the daily activities.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Four-day camp sessions
Over the last 10 years, U.S. Baseball Academy has served more than a quarter million players. The program offers age-specific sessions with instruction tailored for each ability level and uses a proven itinerary of drills. Each player receives individual attention in a small-group atmosphere, supported by a low player-coach ratio, and these are not lecture clinics. Sessions are offered for grades 1–12 as part of a Summer Training Program with an emphasis on teaching proper fundamentals and techniques. All participants receive a t-shirt and camp certificate, and prizes are awarded for winners.
Each location has a teaching staff of high school and/or college coaches from the area, and players learn from some of the area’s top high school and college coaches at U.S. Baseball Academy Spring Training. The program is consistent across all locations and is developed by a national coaching and advisory staff that includes Major League players Adam Eaton, Travis Shaw, and Craig Stammen. U.S. Baseball Academy describes itself as a national program with a local touch and brings its training program into local communities. The organization’s mission is to help young players develop solid fundamentals and learn proper techniques at a young age. The leadership team includes Senior Vice President Joe Marker, Director of Marketing & Operations Jeffery Lee, Camp Success Team Manager Cody Nelson, and Assistant Camp Success Team Manager Andrea Jolly.
