About
Enviro Camp includes tours of the Environmental Discovery Center museum, classroom, and grounds. Campers meet the program’s animal ambassadors as part of the camp experience. Enviro Camp follows an academic lesson plan and has daily attendance requirements, with two unexcused absences resulting in removal from all rosters and replacement by a camper from the wait list.

The Joyce Ebbets Scholarship Fund for Enviro Camp 2025 is connected with the Environmental Discovery Center and the Ormond Beach Parks and Recreation Facebook Social Network. The Joyce Ebbets Scholarship Fund for Enviro Camp 2025 is open to Volusia County residents, and campers ages 7–12 are invited to compete in an art contest for a chance to win a free spot in Enviro Camp. Enviro Camp is not affiliated with or approved to accept scholarship funds from Volusia County, Step Up for Students, or any other outside scholarship. All campers must be the appropriate age for their session as of April 1, 2025, and birth certificates are required for campers not already on file.
