North Wind Martial Arts

North Wind Martial Arts offers Karate, Personal Protection, Taijitsu, After School Karate Program, Evening Karate Program, Homeschool Classes, Summer Camp Program, and Kickboxing. The Karate program is traditional Japanese karate called Shito-Ryu, and no previous experience is required. The Personal Protection program covers Awareness of Your Surroundings, Body Targets, Body Weapons, Balance, Strikes, Joint Locks, and Pressure points.

Programs

• After School Karate Program — elementary or middle school child · $33–$100 per week
• Evening Karate Program — kids and adults; kids karate classes typically include students from 5 to 13 · Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu; specific times vary by belt level · $90–$200 per month · Unlimited classes are $200/month. 2 classes/week are $160/month. 1 class/week is $90/month.
• Homeschool Classes — 5-13 years · Mon and Wed, 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. · $50–$160 per month · Begins September 8, 2025. Registration fee for new students is $50 (includes uniform). Monthly fee is $160.
• Summer Camp Program — Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. · $50–$175 per week · 2026 registration is open. Camp is offered June 1, 2026-August 6, 2026. Fee is $175/week, second child 10% off, $50 day rate, and $50 registration fee for new students.
• Kickboxing — 14 and up · Thu, 6:30-7:30 p.m. · $60 per month · One-hour kickboxing class. Fee is $60/month ($15/class). $20 registration fee for new students.
• Karate — Traditional Japanese karate called Shito-Ryu. No previous experience required.
• Personal Protection — Self-defense and awareness program covering Awareness of Your Surroundings, Body Targets, Body Weapons, Balance, Strikes, Joint Locks, and Pressure points.
• Taijitsu — A hand-to-hand combat style developed for the use of samurai who lost their sword in the heat of battle.
