Grace School Programs

Grace School Programs includes activities such as art, music, language, Bible stories, dramatic play, crafts, games, and water play. Children have access to books, blocks, puzzles, hands on manipulatives, and both inside and outside play, including indoor play, outdoor play, and an age appropriate playground. The program also offers homework help, healthy snacks, special visitors, field trips, and a variety of hands on activities and dramatic play.

Grace School Programs is an outreach ministry of Grace Presbyterian Church for the Panama City area. Its mission states that it provides a safe, stimulating and loving Christian witness to families and the children attending its school programs. According to the mission statement, its age-appropriate programs, which include inside and outside play, art, music, language and Bible stories, are designed to encourage growth in children socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically and spiritually.

Grace School Programs offers a Preschool for children 1 year of age (by September 1 of the current year) through 5 years of age. It also offers a Summer Day Camp for children who turned 1 year of age by September 1 of the previous school year through children just completing 5th grade. The program includes a Quality Elementary After School Care program with low student/teacher ratios.

The Director, Susan Ackermann, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Susan Ackermann has been with Grace Preschool for over 30 years. Grace School Programs are licensed by The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
