Sunshine Child Programs

Sunshine Child Programs offers Summer Camp, School Break, Before & After Care, No School Day Camp, Winter Camp, and Spring Camp for children ages 5 to 12. Summer Camp includes organized games, weekly field trips, arts and crafts, STEM activities, swimming or water parks, themed weeks, and quiet reading time. Winter Camp and Spring Camp include field trips, sports, shows, and special activities.

Programs

• Summer Camp — K-7th grade; a 4-year-old turning 5 in the summer and entering Kindergarten can be registered · Most locations are open 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; campers must arrive by 8:45 a.m. (Recreational) or 8:15 a.m. (CSC) · Activities include organized games, weekly field trips, arts and crafts, STEM activities, swimming/water parks, themed weeks, and quiet reading time.
• School Break — K-7th grade · Offered on teacher planning days, select holidays, Winter Break, Spring Break, and No School Days.
• Before & After Care — school-age children

About the provider

Sunshine Child Programs has provided child care programs in Broward County since 1992. Its mission is to provide quality child care programs that are developmentally appropriate for children in a safe and secure, nurturing and enriching environment. The organization was the 2026 South Florida Favorites winner for Best Summer Camp, Best Daycare, Favorite Customer Service, and Favorite Nonprofit Organization. It is licensed and insured, passes all licensing inspections, and has a 100% safety rating with all school and city locations, year after year. It has also been nominated year after year for The Broward County School Board’s Community Partnership of the Year Award.

Registrations can be completed online. Weekly payments are due the Friday before each week of camp and the account will be auto-charged. No refunds or credits unless a doctor’s note for illness is provided, or a payment is moved to another week prior to the start of the paid week. Sunshine does not offer daily rates for camp. For field trips, only cleared Sunshine employees may supervise and campers must return to the site for pick-up. Campers may bring money on a field trip, but it is not required.
