Suncoast Science Center / Faulhaber Fab Lab Programs offers STEAM Summer Camps, Skill Lab: Trade Series, Homeschool Workshops, and STEAM Saturdays. The camps use high-tech makerspace tools, and the STEAM Saturdays classes include Coding, Engineering, Chemistry, Robotics, and Art & Design.

Programs

• STEAM Summer Camps — Grade levels are determined by the grade your child will be entering for the upcoming school year · Mon-Fri, 8:30am-12:30pm; Mon-Fri, 1:30-5:30pm · $300–$325 per week
• Skill Lab: Trade Series — Rising 8th-12th grade students · $175 per session · Hands-on summer workshop series; each three-day session focuses on a different material or craft.
• Homeschool Workshops — 7-11 · $30 per session · Project-focused STEAM sessions with all materials included and peer collaboration.
• STEAM Saturdays — Grades 2-8 · Saturdays, October-April · $50 per class · Weekly STEAM classes with themes including Coding, Engineering, Chemistry, Robotics, and Art & Design.

About the provider

The program was founded in 2014. Its mission is to inspire and support tomorrow's innovators through experiential learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Community donations make the programs possible and help make hands-on STEAM learning available.

Tours are held every Saturday at 1:30pm and no reservation is required. For Summer Camps using an Education Market Assistant (EMA) account/Step Up For Students scholarship, enter coupon code STEPUP when registering and reserve the funds in EMA within 12 hours; if funds are not reserved within 12 hours, the student will be moved to the program's waitlist. Grade levels are determined by the grade the child will be entering for the upcoming school year.
