Camp using Fab Lab machines, tools, and the scientific method to test myths; Camp MD with solving medical cases, diagnosing illnesses, responding to emergencies, and a White Coat Ceremony; Coding with Python & Java Camp with drawing designs with code and building projects like hangman and a dice game; and Escape Room Engineering Camp focused on building, tinkering, and solving hands-on challenges to crack codes and unlock doors.

• Ages: 7–17 years old
• Schedule: Weeklong, hands-on summer camp sessions; registration for 2026 summer camps opens March 7 at 10am, with the schedule coming February 28

The Suncoast Science Center/Faulhaber Fab Lab was founded in 2014 with the mission to inspire and support tomorrow's innovators through experiential learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Camps are designed for students by high school students in the SPEC Leadership Program, and campers use high-tech makerspace tools and creative challenges. Parents are invited to a White Coat Ceremony on Friday for Camp MD and to a Motorhead Meet Up at the end of Automotive Engineering Camp to check out cars. Community donations make these programs possible and ensure every child has access to hands-on STEAM learning.
