Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties Programs

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties Programs offers out-of-school time and summer programs for thousands of youth. The organization operates these programs at six Club locations known as the Louis and Gloria Flanzer Club, Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club, Lee Wetherington Boys & Girls Club, Newtown Estates Park Boys & Girls Club, Robert and Joan Lee Boys & Girls Club, and Roy McBean Boys & Girls Club.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties has been a leader in youth development since 1970. Its mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need the organization most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The organization provides enriching out-of-school time and summer programs to thousands of youth ages 6 to 18 in Sarasota, Venice, North Port, and Arcadia. Its vision is to provide a world-class Club experience that keeps success within reach of every young person who participates, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
