The Players Studio Classes and Workshops

The Players Studio Classes and Workshops offers live theatre training that includes classes, student showcases, and a youth production from The Players Studio. The program is part of The Sarasota Players, a non-professional community theatre that highlights both local talent and the next generation of performers through a dynamic season of musicals, plays, and student showcases.

• Schedule: Theatre box office hours are Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm, and the box office is also open an hour before showtime; studio hours are Monday through Friday from 10am to 7pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

For nearly a century, The Sarasota Players has been where the community comes to laugh, cry, and be inspired. The organization is community theatre dedicated to delivering quality productions and keeping the community engaged with the arts, and it seeks to provide an artistic outlet for locals and visitors to experience live theatre and live theatre training. Auditions are open to the entire community, and classes are offered for all ages, with diverse productions on stage to appeal to various community members. The Sarasota Players meets all requirements specified by the Florida Solicitation of Contributions Act.
