About
Wind & Waves Summer Camp offers sailing, paddle boarding, and kayaking, along with conducting science experiments. Campers also take part in fun-filled beach activities during the camp sessions.
• Ages: 8–12 years old
• Schedule: One week camp sessions, Monday–Friday
• Price: $400.00 per camper; sibling discount available
The camp is led by a certified science teacher, and counselors are trained in First Aid and CPR, with a counselor to camper ratio of 1:5 or better. The program is designed for children 8–12 years and focuses on paddling and sailing skills, marine science, and making new friends. Your child must be able to swim, and a swim test to evaluate skill level is administered on the first morning of camp. Tuition includes a camp t-shirt, daily snacks, drinks, and lunch. Wind & Waves Summer Camp is an Authorized Concessionaire of Anastasia State Park. The stated goal of the program is for campers to develop a life-long love of watersports and gain an appreciation for the complex ecology of oceans, estuaries, and tidal marshes, all while having fun.
