The Tampa Y is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization, and the YMCA serves over 17 million members in 120 countries. The organization’s mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
Plan your workout with a Certified Personal Trainer at the Y. The Tampa YMCA uses the YMCA360 mobile app, which includes improved features and online group exercise classes. Community support and local partnerships provide program scholarships and free offerings, and donations enable individuals to learn how to swim and be safe around the water, prevent and cope with chronic diseases, and build self-confidence and social skills. The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA continues a partnership with the Tampa Bay Lightning for a second season through the Patch With A Purpose program, where the Tampa Bay YMCA logo appears on all Tampa Bay Lightning jerseys.
