Little Medical School of the Treasure Coast

Little Medical School of the Treasure Coast offers hands-on activities where kids dress up like doctors, veterinarians, pharmacists, dentists, and nurses. Participants use real medical instruments in activities such as suturing, applying first aid, and reading X-rays. The program travels with all supplies needed for class and includes a graduation and diploma ceremony at the end of the experience.

Little Medical School of the Treasure Coast uses a STEM.org accredited curriculum that covers areas such as veterinary medicine, forensic science, little doctor school, and marine biology. The enrichment programs align with STEM.org accredited Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math education objectives and include options like after-school activities, summer camps, preschool sessions, birthday parties, and badge classes, with over 400 hours of content. The curriculum is written by board certified physicians and educators, and each community-focused location is independently owned with programs that can be customized to different needs and budgets. The organization states a mission to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals through its STEM.org accredited programs in medicine, and a portion of its retail sales helps fund scholarships through Dr. Genie’s Kids.
