Ocean Strings Studio & Kindermusik Programs offers Kindermusik music and movement classes along with instrumental instruction in violin, viola, cello, ukulele, and piano. The program also includes the Ocean Youth Orchestra, the SOAR Summer String Camp, and a string ensemble for special events in duo, trio, quartet, and custom ensemble formats.

Ocean Strings Studio & Kindermusik Programs includes a Kindermusik early childhood family involvement program that focuses on whole child development through the powerful bond of music and movement, soulful discovery based music, and purposeful neuron dancing activities. The program offers a VIP Hub for studio families and uses a studio method book series called KALEIDOSCOPES. Richard and Nicole Ballinger are Performing String Artists and Educators on the Treasure Coast and have been dedicated to soul-full musical experiences for over 20 years. The leadership team includes Richard Ballinger (Violin/Viola), Nicole Ballinger (Violin/Viola), Sally Shorrock (Piano), Kyle Pearl (Cello/Bass/Violin/Viola), Miguel Bonachea (Guitar), Vivian Hunter (Vocal & Piano), Michelle Casey (Piano), and Dr. Aramis Ruiz-Ruiz (Cello, Bass). The studio notes community involvement as Performing String Artists and Educators on the Treasure Coast.
The program’s mission states that families are welcomed to join the Ocean Strings Studio family where they will S-T-R-I-N-G: SOUL-FULL Exploration, THRILL-ing Joy, RESONATE Authentically, INSPIRE to Excellence, NURTURE the “whole” potential child, and GROW and flourish as “waves.” Testimonials from parents describe long-term musical journeys that began with instruction from Richard Ballinger, including one child who later performed with numerous local bands and another family whose children have played with The National Youth Orchestra USA, performed at Carnegie Hall, participated in state and national orchestras, and won solo competitions.
