Sunrise Association Day Camps offers summer day camps, in-hospital recreational activities, and year-round programs for children with cancer and their siblings. The program includes Sunrise on Wheels, Wheels Up! Programming, SunriseVX (Virtual Experience), and Sunrise Virtual Adventures, which uses virtual reality to transport children with cancer to landscapes and animal encounters around the world. Sunrise Association Day Camps are provided 100% free of charge.

Sunrise Association has been providing joy to children with cancer and their siblings since 2006. The organization’s mission is to bring the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings worldwide through welcoming, inclusive day camps, year-round programs, and in-hospital recreational activities, all completely free of charge. Sunrise Day Camps are the only summer day camps for children with cancer and their siblings that are provided 100% free of charge, and as day camps, children can continue their medical treatment and sleep at home at night. Sunrise Virtual Adventures uses VR to transport children with cancer to stunning landscapes and immersive animal encounters all around the world during hospital treatments. The Sunrise Association is led by Arnie Preminger, Founder, President & CEO. The Honda USA Foundation has awarded a $100,000 grant to the Sunrise Association to strengthen programming for children with cancer and their siblings across New York and New Jersey.
