Habersham Community Theater Youth & Children’s Productions

Habersham Community Theater Youth & Children’s Productions is part of Habersham Community Theater’s live theatre programming, which includes drama, comedy, musicals, dinner theater, readers’ theater, and children’s productions. The program is connected to a broader slate of activities that also features art exhibits, special events, concerts, and presentations of one-act plays by the drama departments of the Habersham Ninth Grade Academy and Habersham Central High School.

Habersham Community Theater has been offering artistic performances since 1982. Its mission is to provide live entertainment for residents and visitors in Northeast Georgia, to offer opportunities for personal growth through use of creative talents in drama, music, art, and dance, to contribute to the cultural enrichment of the community, and to share emotions that enrich perceptions of life and understanding of others. All actors, directors, set and costume designers, technical crew, board members, friends, and associates are volunteers. Habersham Community Theater is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization, and all donations to Habersham Community Theater are tax-deductible. The organization is a member of the American Association of Community Theatre, Association of Performing Arts Professionals, League of Historic American Theatres, Georgia Presenters, Georgia Theatre Conference, Georgia Council of the Arts, Habersham Chamber of Commerce, and Clarkesville Business & Community Association.
