About

North Georgia Christian Camp offers Bible-based programming where Christianity is the foundation of teaching. The camp is open to both believers and non-believers, and campers are not pressured to make decisions or to be baptized. The camp operates on a permanent Christian camp facility that is used year round.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

North Georgia Christian Camp began in 1966 as a ministry for youth of area churches and has been providing a quality Christian camp for over 50 years. In 1971, Lora Kiss donated 43 acres for a permanent Christian camp facility, and camp buildings were completed in late summer of 1972, with the first camp season on the new campground held in August 1972. The camp now offers 18 different sessions for grades K–12, and more than 3,500 people each year attend and refer to North Georgia Christian Camp as “home.”

The camp is a non-profit owned and supported by 29 non-denominational Christian churches ranging from south Georgia to North Carolina, and it is also supported by donations from individuals and families. Its mission states that it exists to show and tell youth about Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to be an extension of the local church for all ages to learn and grow in the Lord, and to provide a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can be challenged to grow in their faith of Jesus and realize their need for Him. The leadership team includes Jared and Brooklynn Cox as Camp Director and Camp Cook, Seth and Lauren Banks as Director of Facilities and Administrative Coordinator, and Jeffery Neese as Facilities Manager. Families can contact the camp office by phone or text at (706) 754-4513 or by email at [email protected], and office hours are Monday through Friday from 9–5.
