Georgia Favor House states that its mission is to motivate and inspire local youth and their families through personal fitness and physical education programs, and to build athletic spirits through engaging and fun recreational activities, ultimately sending kids on a path straight to success. The leadership team includes Subrenia, President and Founder of Georgia Favor House, and Rex Willis, Sr. Subrenia holds a USATF Level 1 Coach Certification, and Rex Willis, Sr. holds Georgia High School Association Certification and USATF Level 1 Coach Certification. The club reports that it has been producing champions on and off the track since 2005.
The organization is connected with the It Takes A Village Food Program, which operates 8 days a month, addressing food security concerns in the community and providing healthy snacks and evening meals to children in its programs. The evening meals sent home feed the youth and, in many cases, multiple generations living in the household. Its mission also includes providing resources and support programs that create a safe and nurturing environment for the community through an edible educational garden that offers an outdoor space for children to learn about nutrition and the environment, connect with nature and each other, and access healthy, organic produce. Georgia Favor House also offers year-round educational opportunities that focus on health and wellness, and it runs the It Takes a Village Learning Loss program, which is described as providing targeted interventions to students who experienced significant disruptions to their learning due to the pandemic, with a focus on addressing gaps in foundational skills and knowledge and supporting progress toward grade-level standards. The organization notes future plans to provide several awards, as well as gifts, grants, and scholarships for children with unlimited potential, and uses the slogan “Let’s Move College Park!”
