About
Performance Dance Centre offers a complete dance curriculum that includes Hip Hop, Acro, Aerial Arts, Pre Dance, Jazz, ballet, and tap. The Aerial Arts program features classes in Silks, Hammocks, and Lyra, and the studio also offers Acrobatics along with an AcroDance Preschool Program and a Preschool Dance Program.

Performance Dance Centre’s Preschool Dance Program offers classes for ages 2 1/2 through 5 years old and teaches the fundamentals of ballet and tap in a fun creative atmosphere. The studio offers the area’s only full schedule Aerial Arts program with classes in Silks, Hammocks, and Lyra for ages 6 through adults, with beginner through advanced levels, including full Aerial Arts programs for adults. Aerial Arts at Performance Dance Centre is described as a full body workout targeting multiple muscle groups and strengthening muscles that might be difficult to focus on in traditional workouts.
Performance Dance Centre is the only certified Acrobatics studio in the area and one of three certified Acrobatics studios in the state of Georgia, and its acrobatics program offers the area’s only AcroDance Preschool Program. Artistic Director Carrie Paris is certified through Progressing Ballet Technique. The program is taught by professional dance instructors, including professional Aerialist Courtney McCutcheon, and the instructors are professional dancers who have worked with top cruise lines, music videos, touring companies, and have been featured in Disney movies. The leadership team includes Artistic Director Carrie Paris, professional Aerialist Courtney McCutcheon, and an owner/director named Carrie.
Performance Dance Centre states that, while having fun is of utmost importance, it also strives to consistently bring the best training and curriculum in the area, and invites families to experience a place where dancers receive high quality training while developing meaningful relationships that will last a lifetime. Performance Dance Centre dancers have performed around the country, winning numerous regional and national titles, have performed their own show in Disney World, and have toured and assisted with National Dance Conventions as assistants to top choreographers in the dance industry. Its Junior Company dancers are scheduled to be featured on Disney Channel, and many graduates have continued their dance training in college at performing arts schools in Los Angeles and New York City. An alum, Dustin Payne, made the Top 20 of Season 15 of So You Think You Can Dance.
