Bright Future For Kids Tutoring & Learning Center

Bright Future For Kids Tutoring & Learning Center offers tutoring that focuses on improving reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing skills, and critical thinking skills. The program also builds and strengthens math skills through technology and other resources, and works to improve overall learning skills. Literature and discussions about social and moral issues are embedded into the literacy curriculum, and activities are included to prepare students for postsecondary education and the labor market while developing leadership and a sense of achievement through knowledge and motivation. Affordable tutoring is available for grades K–12, using a structured, data-driven tutoring program and individualized plans for students to work toward academic and personal goals.

The founder, Dr. Widza Charles Robinson, is certified in Science, Math, Reading, and English/Language Arts, and is ESOL and Gifted endorsed. Bright Future For Kids states a mission of building self-confidence and motivation so that students improve academic and character skills needed to succeed in school and life, and a vision of helping students achieve academic and personal goals through skills, knowledge, and support that promote and enhance learning. The program describes its approach as educating, equipping, and addressing the needs of the total child throughout the year in academics, critical thinking skills, and social and moral development, and it states a commitment to shaping students’ lives as they strive to be responsible, productive leaders in the community.
