Carrington Academy Summer Camp

Carrington Academy Summer Camp takes place at Carrington Academy, a child care center and preschool where classrooms are described as warm and inviting. The program is part of a school that uses a proprietary Links to Learning curriculum and includes learning through play every day. The school offers dual-language instruction and a fine arts program that includes music and art classes built into tuition at no extra cost.

Carrington Academy was founded in 2001 by Valerie and Chris Davis in Gainesville, Georgia. The school is described as an elite private preschool dedicated to developing the mind, heart, and imagination and is part of Spring Education Group, a network of private schools. Educators are backed by bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as CDA and state certifications, and many founding staff members are still part of the schools, including a school director, assistant principal, and chef. Several teachers are former Carrington Academy students.

Carrington Academy provides daycare and preschool education, as well as before and after care and summer camp for children in South Forsyth County and the greater Atlanta area, with a stated goal of nurturing students academically, socially, and emotionally within a safe and supportive environment. At Carrington Academy on Kelly Mill Road, they serve families in Vickery, Dunn, West Bank, Coal Mountain, and surrounding areas and work closely with Cumming families to create a supportive preschool experience that extends into life outside the classroom.
