Science of Fun STEM Camp includes hands-on projects where kids design snow globes, create magnetic mazes, and tackle brick-holding challenges. Campers race Hex Bugs across homemade ziplines, experiment with marble runs, craft moving parts using simple machines, and make glowing LED creatures and calming bottles with color and motion. They also engineer puppets that star in mini shows, sculpt with air-dry clay, make scratch art, design buttons, experiment with Orbeez, build their own terrariums, launch tiny rockets, blast pompom poppers, whip up foamy reactions, experiment with big bubbles and cloud dough, create colorful chromatography art, build gumdrop molecules, and explore solids and liquids using creative cookie labs, food texture experiments with heat and cold, “eye-scream” cupcakes, Oreo moon phases, marshmallow towers, colorful potato stamps, and homemade ice cream.

Science of Fun STEM Camp offers four summer camp themes for 2026: Daring Designs: Build Big, Maker's Mania: Tech Meets Art, Radical Reactions: Chemistry in Action, and Food Fun: Kitchen Chemistry Adventures. The program includes hands-on science with STEAM projects that blend circuits, design, and storytelling, and it features safe, dramatic hands-on experiments. The Radical Reactions: Chemistry in Action theme always ends the week with homemade ice cream. Nut-free and gluten-free options are available for most labs, and families are asked to list all allergies at registration. The camp is led by certified teachers in a well-supervised environment, and it promotes the idea of “Real Science. Real Fun.” and “Make a mess at our camp, not your kitchen.” Summer Camp Early Registration is open.
