Camp Inagehi states that its mission is to enrich young Christian lives and uplift them to lead in the future. The program describes its setting as Christian camping in a Christian environment, with an emphasis on great friendships and endless activities, and invites campers to learn about God in the midst of His creation while having fun. Camp Inagehi rents its facilities to Church of Christ groups and families throughout the year.

For overnight camp, drop off is on Sunday of each week, with check-in open from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and pick up often taking place after the awards ceremony on Friday night, with a goal of having all children out of the campground by 9:00 pm. For day camp, check-in begins on Monday at 9:00 am and ends at 9:30 am, and pick up is between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm each day. Campers do not need money at camp because all fees, including canteen and the camp T-shirt, are covered during registration.

Camp Inagehi has a lifeguard on staff who has received training and holds a certification from the American Red Cross. The camp asks that any medication brought be in the original container, and that prescription medication be a valid prescription if prescribed. Over-the-counter medication is allowed, and all medication is turned in to the nurse at check-in and given during meal times. Snacks are allowed, with a request not to bring a lot of junk food, and families may send food for campers with special dietary needs that the camp cannot support. The camp provides a packing list to guide what to bring.

Camp Inagehi holds a 5K fun run each year, called the Cabin Fever 5K, which helps support the camp. One parent reports that her boys, ages 17, 13, and 11, and their cousins camp there every year and enjoy it. Another parent shares that her 14-year-old daughter has looked forward to spending a week or two at Camp Inagehi since age 9 and talks about the theme each year. A guest camper describes Camp Inagehi as a place with kind people teaching the word of God in spirit and in truth, and as an accepting and welcoming place where kids and families have a lot of fun.
