Club SciKidz was established in 1997, originally operating under the name Summer Science Day Camps, Inc., and later creating Camp Young Scientist in 2001 and a franchise program in 2007. Since 1997, more than 150,000 children have attended one or more of its science day camps or school programs, and it now operates franchises in Georgia, Maryland, Texas, and Virginia. The program offers more than 60–70 themed science summer camps for grades PK–8th, with camp themes such as Wizarding World-Harry Potter, American Doll, Emergency Vet Medicine, QuadCopter Aerial Robotics, Advanced Minecraft, Coding with Roblox, Advanced LEGO Robotics, Robot Engineer, Special Effects/Zombie, Chemistry Concoctions, and Space Explorer. Club SciKidz also provides 30-minute science workshops in preschools and offers 30 weeks of inquiry-based after-school science club experiences.
