The program is part of The Sunshine House, which was founded 50 years ago in Greenwood, SC, by two public school teachers and has been a trusted partner for families since 1975. Today, The Sunshine House has grown to over 100 schools and operates as a GA Quality Rated school with an award-winning curriculum. Each Sunshine House is state-licensed and regularly inspected to ensure it meets or exceeds state standards, and most schools hold additional state quality ratings and accreditations. The organization states that it is deeply rooted in the communities it serves and partners with organizations to help create a better world.
