AVPRIDE

AVPRIDE is a youth-focused program that offers comprehensive programs with resources, mentorship, and support to enhance academic and personal growth. The program is built on principles of self-awareness, confidence, advocacy, leadership, community engagement, and family support. AVPRIDE is committed to guiding young minds from kindergarten to college and beyond, with the belief that every child has the potential to become a leader and a strong self-advocate.

In the fall of 1996, a diverse group of Fayette County residents united with the goal of empowering local children to thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy, and for nearly 25 years AVPRIDE has been a leader in youth development and leadership in the Fayette and Coweta communities. AVPRIDE’s mission is to empower youth to make informed and healthy decisions that result in resiliency and success as conscious, productive, and contributing societal leaders. AVPRIDE is dedicated to inspiring youth in Coweta, Fayette, and Macon counties and partners with businesses, organizations, and agencies across Georgia to address key challenges identified through local research. The organization works with the community to create resilient and thriving young people, with a stated dream of empowering every child to be a productive citizen both locally and globally.
