Sparkles Skate Camp includes roller skating along with time in a two-story laser tag arena, an indoor playground, and an arcade with a redemption center. Campers are based at Sparkles Family Fun Centers and Sparkles Roller Rinks – Kennesaw, a facility created to appeal to the “techno” generation with cutting edge technology and physical fun. The program also connects with the broader Sparkles offerings, which include S.T.E.M. field trips, a full-service café, and fundraisers.

Sparkles Family Fun Centers have been leaders in family entertainment in the Atlanta area since 1959 and have over 65 years of skating experience. The Kennesaw location has undergone a million dollar renovation and was created to appeal to the “techno” generation. The organization states a motto of “Clean, Fun, Friendly and Safe family entertainment” as its mission statement for over 65 years, with a vision to bring families and friends together through recreational activities in a safe environment for families and individuals to relax and enjoy themselves. Kids 10 and under can skate free all year long with passes, and Sparkles has served many communities in the area of recreation.
Parents have shared that “a good time was had by all...especially my husband! He watched the game on the big screen and didn’t have to do anything except pay for the party,” according to Susan Ward. Sidney Smallwood said, “This was better than any bowling party or Jumpy party that I’ve ever had…and cheaper, too!” John and Candi Depka said, “The kids had the best time EVER!” and other parents, including Karolyne Thompson, Ashley, and Janice Rubenstein, thanked the staff for professional and attentive service, memorable birthdays, and affordable parties, and said they plan to return.
