TwiddleU Learning Academy and the Twiddle Bugs Program provide behavioral, speech, occupational, and play therapy, with therapeutic services integrated into the school day and tailored for each child. Each student receives an individualized learning plan, and the program uses small class sizes and a focus on community and social skills development. The program incorporates career readiness and a 2 Gen Family Approach Model that combines tailored educational programs and therapies for children with career support for parents.

TwiddleU is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that specializes in educational training, support, research, and program management for the Autism and neurodiverse community, while also serving neurotypical children and those with developmental delays and disabilities, including Autism. The mission of TwiddleU is to empower children, including those that are Autistic and neurodiverse, in the greater Atlanta area through innovative, accessible education that fosters independence, lifelong learning, and academic success. The organization provides high-quality literacy, reading, math, and STEM education alongside hands-on life skills training and career readiness, and offers speech, occupational, and play therapy at minimal or no cost to families in need.

TwiddleU uses a combination of in-person, hands-on, and digital learning to address learning loss and educational gaps, and the Twiddle Bugs program focuses on preventing educational regression for both neurotypical and neurodiverse children during out-of-school times. The curriculum includes agriculture and gardening, sensory exploration, and alternative learning through agriculture, horticulture, and gardening as part of a sustainable living focus. The program provides required books to all students and recommended reading options to parents.

Parents are encouraged to attend interactive sessions with their children and receive Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) training so they can continue educational learning at home. TwiddleU offers parent-to-parent networking, informational sessions for parents, pop-up events, and coworking spaces where parents and guardians can work or study on-site. The program also provides coworking spaces, career training, and community support for parents, and is committed to diversity and inclusion, including hiring and maintaining a diverse staff and board.
