Ultimate Karate & Fitness offers Lil Dragons martial arts classes, Kids Karate, Teen & Adult Karate, a transported afterschool program, Ultimate Kids Summer Camp, Ultimate Birthday Parties, parents night out events, Halloween parties, school break programs, camps, field trips, and crafts. The program takes place in a real martial arts school where students train in Shotokan karate using facility, training methods, and equipment that provide a safe training environment.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Karate classes available Monday–Friday afternoons and evenings, plus Saturday mornings; after school care available Monday–Friday afternoons; summer camp available Monday–Friday from early morning to early evening
Ultimate Karate & Fitness has been serving Marietta and the surrounding areas for more than 21 years. The mission of the program is to help all of its students become the best version of themselves. Students train with highly skilled and certified instructors and are taught Shotokan, an Okinawan style martial art founded by Master Gichin Funikoshi and carried on by Sensei Hirokazu Kanazawa, the founder of the Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF). The founder and chief instructor, Siamak Lamei, was a student of Sensei Kanazawa from 1965 to 1979, and the dojo offers a direct Shotokan lineage and the opportunity to compete on an elite team. The program includes after school care, camps, parents night out events, and charities in addition to karate.
