Ultimate Karate & Fitness

Ultimate Karate & Fitness offers Lil' Dragons for ages 4-6, Karate Kids for ages 7-12, Teen & Adult Karate for ages 13+, Transported Afterschool for ages 5-12, Summer Camp, and Birthday Parties. The after school program includes a snack, homework time, play time, and a karate class, and instructors pick students up on early release days and sometimes take them to the park.

About the provider

Siamak Lamei is the founder and chief instructor. The program has served Marietta for more than 21 years. It says its mission is "Building Leaders One Black Belt At a Time" and states that its students are taught Shotokan, an Okinawan style martial art founded by Master Gichin Funakoshi and carried on by Sensei Hirokazu Kanazawa, founder of the Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF).

• Birthday Parties

The school says it is dedicated to teaching excellence, safety, discipline, respect, self-control, persistence, focus, concentration, confidence, leadership, and self-defense. It states that martial arts instruction is individual-based and collaborative, and that violence is not the answer to problems.
