North Gwinnett Lacrosse Association is a community-run youth recreational lacrosse program serving boys and girls from Kindergarten through 8th grade in Suwanee, GA. It is the official youth lacrosse program for the North Gwinnett school cluster and works with Level Creek, Riverside, Roberts, Suwanee, and North Gwinnett Middle schools, along with local families and youth organizations in Gwinnett County. Membership is open to all youth in Kindergarten through 8th grade residing in Gwinnett County.

The program is beginner friendly, and beginners are welcome. Boys and girls K–8 teams are forming for Fall 2026, with boys and girls K–8 beginner-friendly options and loaner gear available. Loaner gear is available for beginners and at the free clinic while supplies last, and first-year families can ask about helmets and gear sets before buying everything upfront. Boys contact play begins in 2nd grade under age-appropriate rules and requires full protective gear including helmet, gloves, and pads, while K–1 is non-contact. Girls lacrosse is non-contact with no body checking, and girls wear protective gear including goggles or a girls lacrosse helmet plus a mouthguard. The free clinic lets boys and girls try the sport before registering, with no experience needed and loaner gear available while supplies last.

All coaches and volunteers are background-checked and certified in first aid and CPR. The program follows an athlete-first philosophy that prioritizes safety, development, and enjoyment, and it has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, and unsportsmanlike behavior. The mission of North Gwinnett Lacrosse Association is to provide a safe, competitive, and supportive environment where young athletes can learn the fundamentals of lacrosse, develop their skills, and build lifelong friendships.

North Gwinnett Lacrosse Association is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It is run by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of parents and community members, and no board member receives compensation. The Board meets monthly, positions are elected annually by the membership, and all revenue is reinvested directly into player experiences, coaching development, and equipment. The program offers scholarship opportunities, financial assistance programs, and sliding-scale fees to support inclusive access regardless of economic background. Operations are described as transparent, with financial records and policy documents available to members, detailed financial reports reviewed annually by an independent accountant, and annual meetings held to review operations and gather community feedback.
