Camp Twin Lakes - Will-A-Way

Camp Twin Lakes – Will-A-Way offers activities such as equestrian therapy, a high ropes course, a zip line, a rock wall, and lake activities including kayaking, fishing, and beach volleyball. Campers take part in gymnasium activities such as the Camp Dance and talent show, as well as events at the outdoor amphitheater, including opening ceremonies and musical guests.

For more than 30 years, Camp Twin Lakes has been a place where kids living with serious illnesses, disabilities, and life challenges feel truly understood. Camp Twin Lakes opened its cabins in 1993 and opened its second fully-accessible campus at Will-A-Way in 2009. Camp Twin Lakes owns and operates three accessible, medically-supportive campuses that are fully equipped to accommodate campers of all abilities, and most summer camps serve kids ages 7–17, with ages varying by program. The camp serves different unique diagnoses or life challenges each week during summer and also offers weekend retreats for children and families during the school year, where caregivers and family members enjoy camp activities together.

Camp Twin Lakes operates in partnership with the State of Georgia to manage the Will-A-Way campsite and partners with more than 70 other nonprofit organizations to provide camp experiences. Corporate partners support Camp Twin Lakes through direct funding support, cause-marketing initiatives, and volunteerism. The program includes adaptive camp activities such as zip lines, rock walls, and horseback riding, nature programming with interactive nature exploration trails, a wheelchair accessible green treehouse, stargazing programs, a 120-acre farm, a recently renovated gymnasium by the Atlanta Hawks, and an outdoor amphitheater with the Will-A-Way rock garden.
