YMCA After School Care and Summer Camp includes activities such as group classes, group cycling, aqua therapy, and swim lessons. The program follows the mission of putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. As a not-for-profit organization, it serves kids in settings where volunteers, staff, and members are committed to creating an environment where “God and a good time are friends.”
The YMCA of Georgia’s Piedmont has been serving the community since 1996. It services the communities of Barrow, Walton, Hart, Franklin, Jackson, and Elbert through community partnerships. The program is a partner of USA Swimming’s Make A Splash program as a swim lesson provider. It is committed to the promotion of healthy living in a friendly and non-intimidating environment with an emphasis on participation, personal development, and character building. As a not-for-profit organization, it strives to reach people of every age, race, faith, and socio-economic status.
