Eagle Academy of Martial Arts offers Kids Martial Arts and Adult Martial Arts. The kids classes focus on self-defense, fitness, confidence, discipline, respect, focus, goal setting, and character development. The adult classes are open to beginners and focus on self-defense, inner peace, confidence, strength, endurance, flexibility, power, and speed. The school also offers birthday parties with a kids birthday package.

About the provider

The school says its goal is to use martial arts as a vehicle to inspire kids to be more confident and focused in their daily activities. Mary Treacy is the Owner and Head Instructor in Aurora. Dan Jansa is the Owner and Head Instructor for Eagle Academy of Martial Arts in Warrenville, Illinois. Mary Treacy began her martial arts training in February 1987, started teaching with Little Champions and Junior Achievers in 1992, and became a full time instructor in 1993. Dan Jansa began his Black Belt Leadership training when he was 16 years old and has been an instructor since 1971.

The program says kids are taught diplomacy first and that violence is always a last resort. Adult classes are open to beginners and offer support, kindness, and help through every step of training. Aurora has 2 class locations.
