Team One Volleyball

Team One Volleyball offers an Indoor Club Program and a Beach Volleyball Program that include activities such as beach tryouts and a dual training experience that combines indoor and beach volleyball. Players take part in specific events and trips including international travel, a Sedona AZ retreat, a Costa Rica adventure, time at Colorado Horse Rescue, hiking the Rockies, and California team bonding. The program also includes nutrition education as part of its training approach.

• Schedule: Program hours run Monday through Friday from 3pm to 10pm, on Saturdays from 8am to noon, and on Sundays from 10am to noon.

Team One Volleyball has been celebrating 15 years of volleyball since 2010. The leadership team includes Club Director and Head Beach Coach Taye Im and Indoor Program Director and Head Coach Brandon Im. The program states a mission of focusing on teamwork, motivation, and confidence-building skills by training the mind and body as one, with an emphasis on holistic development that includes technical skills, mental resilience, and nutritional needs. Team One Volleyball notes that it was started to create a safe environment where young female athletes could flourish, free from pressures often associated with big clubs focused on their own achievements, and describes itself as more than just a club, but a community dedicated to empowering young athletes.

Team One Volleyball reports that over 40 players have been recruited for Division 1 and Division 2 beach volleyball programs across the country. The club lists a credential as JVA World Challenge 18U Premier Gold Division Champs. Community involvement includes sponsoring under-privileged athletes each year to participate in training programs, collaborating with local charities and like-minded organizations that focus on youth empowerment through sports, and operating Team One Rescue, which focuses on saving animals in the community.
