About
Batavia Park District Youth Camps and Programs offers a wide range of activities, including summer camps, winter and spring break programs, and kids’ programs such as Kids’ Club and Klub Fun. Participants can take part in sports and recreation options like swim lessons, swim lessons at Hall Quarry Beach, basketball camp, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, golf, karate, cheer and tumbling, skateboarding camp, and equestrian programs. The program also includes STEAM activities, games and leisure, dance and dance classes, fitness and adult fitness classes, yoga, TRX, tai chi, nature programs, performing arts, life coaching, variety classes, trolley tours, and guided walking tours of the Amazon robotics-sortable facility in Monee, Illinois.

Batavia Park District Youth Camps and Programs offers activities for early childhood ages 0–5, youth ages 6–11, middle school ages 11–15, and adult and senior ages 16 and older, and many programs have sessions for different ages. The program includes new water features designed for little swimmers at Hall Quarry Beach, the Batavia Uncorked outdoor wine event with live acoustic music and food, and the River Rhapsody free summer concert series along the Batavia Riverwalk. The district’s mission states that it is committed to providing fun, safe and innovative open space and recreational opportunities that will enrich the quality of life for its residents. The leadership team includes Kim Hansen, CPRP, M.S., Director of Parks, and Alex Macias, Certified Arborist. The Batavia Fire Department has held water rescue training at Hall Quarry Beach.
