Aquatic Programs and Swimming includes activities such as Lap Swim, Swim Class, Swim Team, Water Aerobics, Indoor Lap Swim, Basketball Open Gym, and Adult Open Pickleball. Indoor Lap Swim is offered in separate time blocks during the day and evening. The program also connects with other aquatic options such as the Central Park Spray Pad and events like the Illinois Parks & Recreation Association “Park Pursuit.”
• Schedule: Indoor Lap Swim is available from 5:00 am–4:00 pm and from 4:00 pm–9:00 pm, with additional related offerings including a Dance Program Open House on Tuesday, May 26 from 5:00–7:00 pm, Central Park Spray Pad daily hours from 9:00 am–6:00 pm, and the “Park Pursuit” event on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 10:00 am–2:00 pm

The program is part of the Bolingbrook Park District, whose mission is to provide world-class park and recreation services in a fiscally responsible manner to enhance the community’s quality of life. The Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex Renovation Project was completed in 2021. The Bolingbrook Park District has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for 21 consecutive years, and Bolingbrook is described as one of the nation’s Top 100 Cities to Live by Money Magazine. The leadership team includes Kim Smith, Director of Marketing & Customer Care. The Bolingbrook Park District gathers feedback through a Community-wide Survey distributed randomly to Bolingbrook households every three to four years and works with other agencies through intergovernmental agreements.
