BIG Gymnastics offers girls and boys gymnastics through a recreational gymnastics program, a competitive Women’s artistic gymnastics team, and an XCEL team. The gym also hosts Preschool Open Gym, Friday Night Open Gym, Sunday Open Gym, and birthday parties. Families can register online by using the Register Now button, can call to change a class, and can request classes that are not currently on the schedule.
• Ages: 3–17 years old
• Schedule: School-year gym hours include morning and evening options Monday through Friday, with additional hours on Saturdays and Sundays; school-year office hours run most days from morning through late afternoon.
BIG Gymnastics opened in September 2006 and, by 2008, had an award-winning team of over 75 competitive gymnasts and a recreational program of over 600 students. Today, the program includes close to 90 competitive gymnasts, an XCEL team of 70 gymnasts, and a recreational program of almost 900 students. The professional coaching staff is described as experienced and top-quality, and the program states that its top priority is to teach girls and boys gymnastics in a positive, progressive environment while helping each child achieve their personal best and build poise, self-esteem, and confidence. BIG Gymnastics reports that it strives to create an environment of excellence based on caring for the health and happiness of each child and embracing the entire family. The gym is described as the home of countless State Champions, Regional Champions, National Competitors, and Champions, and as a large, highly successful gym with an award-winning team.
