CYC - Calumet Heights Early Learning, Out-of-School Time, and Summer Programming offers Early Learning Head Start programming for young children and Out-of-School-Time and summer programming for older children and teens. The program uses flexible high-tech rooms for creative exploration and programming, along with a multi-purpose indoor gym, a state-of-the-art technology center, and expansive outdoor playground and community spaces. It also includes a Senior Wellness program that engages community members in programming.

Since 1956, Chicago Youth Centers (CYC) has been described as the place “Where Possibility Lives” and as a trusted anchor in communities. The mission of Chicago Youth Centers (CYC) is to provide high-quality early learning and out-of-school time enrichment in under-resourced neighborhoods to holistically support children of all ages, their families, and their communities. Chicago Youth Centers (CYC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The leadership team at this center includes Geoffrey Edwards, Center Director, and Falisa Zinn, Associate Child Care Director. This center also serves as a space for community and senior programming, along with community gatherings.
