Dance With Me Productions offers classes in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, African dance, and Hula. The program began as a 12 week summer intensive that focused on Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, and African dance and ended in a culminating recital. It now includes a full-year dance curriculum that runs from September to June and ends with an annual recital in June.

Dance With Me Productions began in the summer of 2001, when FaChica Mone Austin-Alderson founded the company. The program offers classes for Tiny Dancers (ages 2–4), Youth (ages 5–10), and Pre-Teen/Teen (ages 11–18), and has performance teams for dancers who are ready for more advanced performance experiences. During the school year, the program also travels to different schools and day cares in the Chicagoland area to offer various dance styles, and it performs at select venues throughout the year. In addition to the full-year program, Dance With Me Productions has a summer program and emphasizes training, confidence, character, and community.
Founder FaChica Mone Austin-Alderson, also known as Mz. FaChica or Mz. Chica, began her own dance training at an early age with Muntu African Dance Theatre. She has studied at Joel Hall Dance Center, Hubbard Street Dance Center, ETA Creative Arts Foundation, Deeply Rooted Productions, Sammy Dyer, and Studio One Dance Theatre (formerly Studio One Dance Conservatory), with training in Hula, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, African, and Tap.
Dance With Me Productions has been recognized for excellence in dance education, student development, and community impact, and is recognized as a Best of 2026 Training Centre in Chicago. The program’s community involvement includes outreach and charitable initiatives focused on making a positive difference in the lives of Chicago’s youth.
Parent and student feedback includes comments that “Mrs. FaChica is a gem” and that her approach to teaching from beginner to advanced “is incredible.” Other parents note that their children “blossomed more in just a few weeks here than she did in a full year at other studios,” and that students “gain confidence, have fun, and truly grow as dancers.” Families also describe the balance of discipline and love as “unmatched,” and say that the dedication from the owner and staff “goes far beyond just dance.” According to Mz.
