The league states that it emphasizes three F’s: FUN, FRIENDSHIP, and FUNDAMENTALS. The ESAA President and the ESAA Board of Directors lead the program, and the organization thanks sponsors, coaches, assistant coaches, and volunteers, whose dedication is described as the heart of ESAA. The mission statement notes that since the early 1960s, ESAA has been more than just a league, bringing together families on the northwest side of Chicago to create lifelong memories on and off the field.
