Fred's Camp is an urban summer day camp with an overnight camp philosophy. Camp activities are designed by experienced educators.
• Ages: 4–13 years old
• Schedule: Camp runs Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with After Camp Care offering extended hours until 6 p.m. Monday–Thursday
Fred's Camp has been family owned and operated since 1994 and has been a summertime tradition in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood for 30 years. The camp was founded by former educator Fred Greenburg. Fred's Camp states that its activities are designed by experienced educators and meant to develop physical coordination, self-awareness, teamwork, self-esteem, and sensitivity to the environment. The program describes itself as SAFE & FUN. It has been recognized as the No. 1 children's summer camp in Chicago.
