Since 2007, Game On! Sports 4 Girls – Multi-Sport Programs has focused on working specifically with girls in grades Pre K–8th. The stated mission is that every Game On! girl experiences growth as an athlete and a person, along with feeling empowered, confident, proud, and “GirlStrong.” The program includes exposure to role models through highly trained staff, motivational speakers, and clinics, and it features customized programming with signature incentive programs and different sports, themes, and creative projects each week.

The program has received national recognition, including the 2013 espnW/Toyota Everyday Hero Award, the 2018 U.S. Olympic Committee’s Ring of Gold Program Award, and the 2019 President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition Community Leadership Award. Owners Barb (847-707-7729) and Sara (847-452-8589) lead the program. They also offer Girl Scout Clinics, engage in community work, and list organizational partners under “Our Partners.”

Families are asked to send campers with sunscreen applied at home and to pack labeled items such as sunscreen, hand sanitizer, a filled water bottle, a change of clothes (including underwear and socks), a nut-free lunch, nut-free snacks, a towel, a headband or hair tie for longer hair, appropriate layers for the weather, and an optional hat or mask. The Game On! Pledge shared with campers is: “I strive to be GIRLSTRONG Strong in body Strong in mind Strong in team Game On!” Testimonials from parents describe the environment as empowering and warm and note positive experiences their daughters have had at camp.
