Since 2007, Game On! Multi-Sport Summer Camp has worked specifically with girls in grades Pre K–8th to encourage a lifelong commitment to a healthy lifestyle that includes sports and fitness. The camp’s mission since 2007 has been to ensure every Game On! girl experiences growth as an athlete and a person, along with feeling empowered, confident, proud, and “GirlStrong.” Campers are grouped in programs including Ponytails for rising PreK–1st graders, Bright Stars for rising 2nd–5th graders, and Sports Leadership for rising 6th–8th graders, with Sports Leadership campers also having special field trips or in-camp sessions with high-achieving female leaders interspersed throughout the summer.

Game On! Multi-Sport Summer Camp includes exposure to role models through highly-trained staff, motivational speakers, and clinics. The camp integrates lessons focusing on self esteem, respect, nutrition, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship, and offers customized programming that includes signature incentive programs. The camp runs rain or shine, with space to continue playing indoors in a spacious gym, and offers an Outdoor Extension Week in August with the option to register for one to five days. Families are asked to send campers with labeled items such as sunscreen, hand sanitizer, a filled water bottle, a nut-free lunch and snacks, a towel, a change of clothes, appropriate layers for the weather, and optional items like a hat or mask.

Game On! Multi-Sport Summer Camp has been recognized with the 2013 espnW/Toyota Everyday Hero Award, the 2018 U.S. Olympic Committee’s Ring of Gold Program Award, and the 2019 President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition Community Leadership Award, and it also runs Girl Scout Clinics. Parent testimonials describe the camp as an empowering environment, mention campers wanting to attend every week, and note experiences such as a camper being moved up a level in gymnastics and families feeling that the camp reinforced messages about effort and attitude.
