About
Camp Kids’ Work includes activities such as water play, sports, free play on a secure onsite playground, and movement and enrichment activities in indoor multi-purpose play areas. Campers take part in Art with Kidcreate Studio, Soccer with Little Sparks, Lil' Kickers, weekly yoga with Brain to Belly Yoga, weekly classes with WeeGroove Music, and Ms. Yesenia’s Spanish classes. The program also offers special shows with Magic Randy, magic shows, reptile encounters, cooking and craft classes, quiet neighborhood walks, walking field trips for older campers, and swimming at Goldfish for students 5 and up.

• Schedule: Full-day camp with drop-off and pick-up between 7:30am and 6:30pm Monday–Friday, with three multi-week sessions plus a bonus week in June, July, and August
Camp Kids’ Work runs Session 1 from June 8–26 (closed June 19, 2026), Session 2 from July 6–24, Session 3 from July 27–August 14 with camp ending at 4pm on August 11, and a Bonus Week from August 17–21, with camp activities in full swing between 9am and 4pm. The program uses weekly themes and activities such as Summer Fun in Chicago, Ocean Exploration, Board Games & Puzzles, National Parks, Summer Snacks/Sweet Treats, Exploring the Great Lakes, Film & Theatre, and Color Week. All campers participate in weekly Spanish and movement classes, and tuition includes language and movement enrichments such as weekly Spanish, yoga, and music.
Camp Kids’ Work provides organic breakfast, lunch, and snack daily, with high-quality organic meals and snacks from Healthy Organic Kids and nutritious family-style meals featuring almost exclusively organic and locally sourced fresh fruits and vegetables. Group sizes are smaller than typical, and age-specific individual classroom spaces are used along with a fun-filled indoor playspace for large muscle activity year-round. The program uses the Brightwheel parent communication app for daily shares of photos and anecdotal participation snippets.
Camp Kids’ Work is staffed predominantly by year-round teachers who meet Illinois state requirements for early childhood education, have background checks through Illinois DCFS, and hold CPR and First Aid certifications. Every staff member is CPR and First Aid certified, and a nurse consultant provides regular training on action plans, rescue inhalers, and EpiPens. The program follows strict adherence to DCFS and Illinois Department of Public Health immunization requirements with no vaccine exemptions for students, and all students must be seen by a doctor in the state of Illinois with the DHS Health Form completed by a doctor licensed in Illinois.
