AYSO Chicago Lakefront - Region 418 Youth Soccer Programs offers youth soccer programs that include a Winter Indoor Soccer League and Winter Soccer Camps. The programs follow the mission of providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
Region 418 is led by a volunteer leadership team that includes roles such as Regional Commissioner, Assistant Regional Commissioner, Registrar, Treasurer, Safety Director, Regional Coach Administrator, and Regional Referee Administrator. The region also has division administrators for age groups from 4U/5U through High School (15U–19U), as well as an EPIC (Special Needs) Division Administrator. Additional programs in the region include the EPIC-Everyone Play In Our Community special needs program, the VIP Buddies program, the AYSO EXTRA program, the AYSO Northwind SC program, a Youth Referee Program, and the Northwind and Extra Referee Program. Region 418 has earned the AYSO Platinum Award several times, and Platinum Regions model AYSO's philosophies and commitment to providing family friendly youth soccer experiences for players in their communities. The region is volunteer-run, and many of AYSO's higher level contributors, including Section 6 and National volunteer staff up to the National Board of Directors, started in Region 418. The region is also involved with Chicago Public Schools to enhance youth sports programming through partnership with the American Youth Soccer Organization.
