Northwind Soccer Club offers soccer with club programming options both recreationally and competitively. The program includes a one free week trial that serves as a trial period with one of its teams, and families can arrange an individual tryout for a player.

The mission of Northwind SC is to foster the development of local youth through the sport of soccer and to provide participants with a fun, high-quality soccer experience that encourages sportsmanship and a love of the game through the development of player, coach, team and family. The club’s staff includes USSF professional coaches and 10+ licensed coaches, and the club has 489 players, 37 Olympic development participants, and 8 alumni playing in college. Northwind Soccer Club holds the credentials FIRST ILLINOIS PREMIER CLUB and AYSO REGION OF THE YEAR 2024.
Parent testimonials describe player development in individual skills and confidence, long-term participation from ages 8–18 leading into college play, and experiences where children have fun while improving and facing a “just right challenge” in practices and games. Parents also report that coaches are supportive and engaging, that administration is responsive to constructive feedback and seeks parental engagement, and that staff are subject matter experts who share their knowledge to enhance player development.
