College Baseball Group Showcase Camps feature showcase baseball camps where players work out with college baseball coaches and showcase in front of top college coaches. The camps include world-class instruction, high energy baseball sessions, and chances to network with college coaches, with access to coaches from prestigious colleges and Division I programs.
College Baseball Group runs professional and powerful showcase baseball camps with top college coaches from the most prestigious schools in the country. The camps are led by a team with over 30 years of combined experience as former collegiate players, professional players, and active members in the showcase industry. In 2017, with more than 30 years of combined industry experience, College Baseball Group was founded. The leadership team includes Kevin Small as Co-founder and Managing Partner overseeing strategy management, Geoff Kimmel in event development, and Tyler Smith in marketing innovation. Co-founder Kevin Small has experience in the professional and collegiate baseball industry and has stayed involved in baseball in coaching and scouting positions. Geoff Kimmel is part of the Delaware State coaching staff and previously served as an assistant at Furman, Coppin State, and Wesley College, and as head coach of the Myrtle Beach Surf in the Beach Collegiate Baseball League in 2014.
The stated mission of College Baseball Group is to provide players with high energy and valuable experiences that allow players to showcase their abilities while learning mindset attributes that position them for success in all endeavors in life. College Baseball Group provides professional and high energy baseball camps across the United States, with a focus on making the experience of getting noticed energetic, fun, and rewarding in the long term. A Division I baseball coach described one event as “one of the best events we have ever worked” and stated that “these guys know how to run great baseball camps.” A CBG camp parent reported that their athlete said it was the best camp he had ever attended and noted that the coaches were superb and that they both learned key information.
