About
Park Forest Recreation, Parks & Community Health Summer Camps include Campapalooza and Mama's Birds Performing Arts Summer Camp. Campapalooza features frisbees, relays, 3-legged races, tug-o-war, hopsacks, kickball, scarf tag, beach bucket relays, hula hoops, sports and fitness, movie days, play and exploration, and includes a T-shirt, awesome in-house entertainment, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Mama's Birds Performing Arts Summer Camp offers singing, dancing, acting, and songwriting lessons, along with stage presence coaching, free studio recording, free photo shoots, and image and bio development, and ends with a big finale showcase.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Campapalooza runs Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., from June 16 to August 8, 2025, for 8 weeks, with no camp on June 19 or July 4; Mama's Birds runs in 7-week sessions from June 17 to July 31 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with a 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. option for ages 7–13 and a 12:30 p.m.–3:00 p.m. option for ages 14–18.
• Price: Campapalooza for ages 6–13 costs $965 for 8 weeks with a payment plan of $300 per camper due at registration plus a $10 payment plan processing fee, with the balance due by July 11, 2025; Mama's Birds for ages 7–13 and 14–18 costs $240 for 7 weeks with a payment plan of $35 per camper due at registration, $35 per week until paid in full, a $10 payment plan processing fee, and the balance due by July 31, 2025; payment plans are available for only $35 per week with a one-time $10 payment plan fee.
Mama's Birds Performing Arts Summer Camp is led by experienced instructors who work in the industry. Online registration is not available for Mama’s Birds, and registration for that camp takes place at the Park Forest Recreation, Parks & Community Health Department. Campapalooza is a non-refundable program.
