Elgin Steelers Youth Football and Cheer offers youth football, including spring and fall football, as well as cheerleading. The program also runs camps in addition to its regular football and cheer activities.

The Elgin Youth Sports League "Elgin Steelers" is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that serves the Elgin community and surrounding suburbs with youth football and cheer through Chicagoland Pop Warner. The mission of the EYSL is to empower young athletes through discipline, teamwork, academic responsibility, and positive sportsmanship while providing a safe, inclusive, culturally supportive environment that encourages growth, confidence, leadership, and community pride. The Elgin Steelers have joined Pop Warner and are part of the Chicagoland Pop Warner family. Families are strongly encouraged to register early to take advantage of affordable payment plans.
The leadership team includes Keith Ligon (President), Marcei Simon (Vice President), Vanessa Zamudio (Treasurer), Somer Heaps (Secretary), Shaun Hopkins (Football Director), Rickey Elam (Assistant Football Director), Sabrina Wilbon (Cheer Director), Lizzy Kelley (Concessions), Larry Williams (Field Marshall & Safety Director), Chris Kelley (Field Maintenance), Vanessa Bobo (Scholastics & Eligibility), Darius Holmes (Spirit Wear), Shaniah Morse (Registrar), and Billy Rodriguez (Off Season Events).
