About
Center for Talent Development Student Programs offers hundreds of enrichment and accelerated courses for students age 4 to grade 12. The program also offers summer programs, online programs, weekend programs, and leadership and service-learning programs, as well as grade-level and above-grade-level assessments and talent development pathways consulting for students. In addition, the Center for Talent Development Student Programs provides parent and educator learning communities and program development for schools.

• Schedule: Intrepid by Design Summer Talent Development Workshop for Educators and Youth Development Specialists is on June 25, 2026, from 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Since 1982, Center for Talent Development (CTD) has provided comprehensive enrichment and accelerative programs and services. CTD is part of Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy and is dedicated to helping academically talented students, PreK through grade 12, realize their full potential. CTD has been accredited through Cognia as a Nonpublic-Supplementary school since April 1, 1994. CTD has several scholarship options, offers need-based financial aid to qualified students for most CTD programs and assessments, and collaborates with the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. An alum stated, “I’d recommend CTD to anyone. It’s challenging, exciting, fun, and different from any experience I ever had in school or at another summer camp. CTD has given me lifelong skills, knowledge, and friendships.”
