About
The Forest Park Youth Soccer Association (FPYSA) Youth Soccer Program offers a youth soccer program that includes Spring and Fall leagues, Division Play, and the FP Little Kickers program. Participants take part in practices and games, and the program also offers team pictures and individual pictures as part of the experience. Division Play is designed to increase soccer knowledge and skill levels in a fun, semi-competitive environment, while FP Little Kickers is a developmental program that introduces children to the game of soccer.
• Ages: 3–14 years old
• Schedule: Spring and Fall leagues each year; Division Play runs an 8-week season with playoffs in both Spring and Fall; FP Little Kickers meets once a week on Saturdays for a 6-week program
The youth soccer program is run by the Forest Park Youth Soccer Association (FPYSA) and is designed to teach the game of soccer in a fun, recreational environment. It is independent of the Forest Park District and utilizes a state-of-the-art turf soccer field for practices and games. In both Spring and Fall seasons, the program engages other local townships to increase the competition and provide more game opportunities, with teams practicing once a week and playing games against other local area teams. A Code of Conduct document defines guidelines for fair and respectful interaction between children, parents and caregivers, coaches, referees, and fans of FPYSA. For Division Play, a jersey purchase and shinguards are required, and FP Little Kickers includes a t-shirt with shinguards required.
