Eagle Ridge Junior Programs focus on golf instruction and play for junior golfers. The program uses 63 signature holes of championship golf across the North Course, South Course, The General Golf Course, and the East Course. Instruction covers fundamentals such as grip, posture, and stance, and includes guidance on the spirit of golf and proper golf etiquette.
• Ages: 0–17 years old
• Price: Junior Rates: $45 on the North and South Courses with a playing adult; $55 on The General Golf Course with a playing adult; $30 with a playing adult on the East Course
Junior golfers are defined as those ages 17 and under. The program uses PGA Family Golf Tees at the East Course and a U.S. Kids Golf Forward Tees setup so young golfers and beginners can play from appropriate yardages. Benefits of the U.S. Kids Golf Forward Tees setup include kids and all members of the family playing faster and not feeling rushed, along with lower scores and more fun. Eagle Ridge Junior Programs state that an early grasp of fundamentals like grip, posture, and stance gives junior golfers the best chance for success and can lead to a lifetime of enjoyment. The junior programs are led by enthusiastic and friendly PGA instructors, including John Schlaman, a Class A PGA Professional. Golfers must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license to drive a cart.
